Class of 2011 Graduation is tomorrow!?
I can’t believe that I will be saying goodbye (in Ithaca, at least) to some of my favorite people of all time TOMORROW! This past year has been amazing, and even though I know that next year will probably be just as great, I still can’t begin to imagine Cornell without you! I know that I complain about having too many senior friends, but I’m so glad that I know you all. You made freshman year an opportunity for me to explore Collegetown rather than sitting idly in my depressing North Campus dorm room. You made sophomore year an amazing opportunity to host meaningful/silly parties and get togethers where I was finally really able to have so much genuine fun (read: 4am lip syncing performances while I was super sick). You made junior year into a whirlwind of late night eating (followed by food comas) and an excuse to have an Office-themed graduation party. I am so glad I stuck around for senior week so I could spend time with you all without the hassle of homework and to-do lists.
This past week has been a great start to the summer, and I’m so proud of you all for graduating! Congratulations on your departure from Ithaca and getting a degree (or multiple!)!! I’m so excited to see you all go into the next steps of your lives. You are my role models and mentors and I’ll miss you so much!!!
